Dark!fic, Murderer aus, serious dub-con or non-con, underage, abuse as a plot line, zombies, de-aged high school aus, de-aged at all actually, kidfic once the kid is born, slavery, genderswap, secret dating for serious reasons, actually unrequited love, body horror, animal transformation, time travel fics, incest, sugar daddies, fics where Nazis are the main character even if it’s a redemption arc, poetry, break-ups even temporary, magical creature aus, forced to bond for life a/b/o, professional power imbalances (teachers, doctors, bosses) outside of porn, meta fic (by this I mean fics in the style of Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality, I don't mean not!fic)
Defenders:
I really like fics where the author consistently acknowledges Matt's blindness. One example is when he's the narrator, describing his senses about an encounter and not just saying that he "sees" it, not mentioning colors, etc.
Star Trek:
I am very turned off by fics that mention money. There isn't any money in the Star Trek universe anymore (okay, technically, there is in AOS, but AOS is incorrect), so talking about tuition for the academy, or work-study, or people joining Star Fleet because of poverty bothers me. Also random unexplained homophobia/racism/ableism bothers me too, especially in Star Trek fics. But speaking of the academy, I LOVE academy-era fics. For AOS, I also love fics where Pike is Kirk's (reluctant) mentor.
Leverage:
I don't like fics where Nate is an asshole. I'm fine with ambiguously grey Nate or Nate not being present at all, though. Trans!Eliot is a love of mine, but I don't know if there is a lot around.
Elementary:
I headcanon Sherlock as ace and Joan as aro so if you found anything with either of those to record I would love you forever. I am super into Joan/Sherlock as romantic, queer platonic, or just platonic, all is great!!
Les Mis:
I can't stand fics where Enjolras hates Grantaire right away, especially for the fact that he drinks a lot, but I am fine with them growing to hate (and then love each other) or having a friendly rivalry.
The Get Down:
I imagine that Zeke and Mylene get together first and then Shao starts dating Zeke after. Mylene and Shao eventually become friends and have some kind of weird and undefined relationship, but they don't date and they don't have sex with each other, just Zeke.
Rivers of London:
I only just started reading this series but will be through it by the time reveals come around for sure. I put Peter/Nightingale because I'm pretty sure that will be my jam, but if you see on twitter between now and December that I am interested in other pairings you would like to record for, go for it!
